Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Outbase Pro collects, why, and what you can do about it. Outbase Pro is run by Fraser Lamb in the United Kingdom and is the data controller for the information described here. Questions or requests: [email protected].
What we collect and why
| When | What we keep | Why, and our lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| You book a call | Name, email, company and anything you type into the booking form | To arrange and hold the call. Steps you asked us to take before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to you. |
| You create a marketplace account at app.outbasepro.com | Account details and the meetings you register interest in or buy | To run the account and the meetings you buy. Contract. |
| You sign up for new-meeting email alerts | Email address, the marketplace you chose and the area you cover | To email you new meetings in your area. Consent — every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing deletes the record. |
| You visit the website | Counts of pages viewed and buttons clicked, with no cookies, no IP address and nothing that identifies you | To see which pages work. Legitimate interests. |
| You visit the commercial solar or recruitment agency pages | The name of the company that owns the internet connection you used, if it is a business, and which page was visited | To find businesses interested in the marketplaces and offer them our service. Legitimate interests. See below. |
| We contacted you about our services | Business contact details (name, job title, work email and phone, company) from public sources and B2B data providers | Business-to-business outreach. Legitimate interests. You can ask us to stop at any time. |
How company identification works
When someone views the commercial solar or recruitment agency page, we look up the IP address of the connection to see which organisation it is registered to. We do not identify you as a person, we do not store the IP address, and we discard it as soon as the lookup is done. If the connection belongs to a home or mobile broadband provider, we keep nothing. If it belongs to a business, we keep the business name and the page visited for up to 12 months, and may contact that business about our services.
You can object to this at any time by emailing us, and we will stop.
Cookies
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. It stores one small note in your browser to remember that you have already seen the welcome pop-up, so it is not shown again. The booking calendar is provided by Calendly, which may set its own cookies when you use it.
Who we share data with
We never sell personal data. We use trusted providers to run the service, who only process data on our instructions: Cloudflare (website hosting and cookieless analytics), Railway (application hosting), Calendly (call booking), Google Workspace (email), our email delivery provider, and B2B data providers for outreach. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Email alerts: until you unsubscribe.
- Company visit records: up to 12 months.
- Calls, accounts and outreach records: as long as there is an active business relationship or reason to contact you, and for any period the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy. You can withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
